What do we accept?
We accept works about all characters no matter how minor! See a demon in the background that you really like? Draw them. Liked that guy that stopped on the side of the road to tell Aziraphale, "You're better off without him?" Write about the man that broke his heart. Want to write about our favorite ineffable husbands? Go for it!
Keep in mind, though, that we do have a theme and a brand and ask that submissions align with those.
What's the brand?
Glad you asked!
It's really up to interpretation for the most part. What might make you feel and fuzzy and warm on the inside might be different from what makes others feel nice. Maybe you like a good sick!fic with a lot of care and someone else likes heavy fluff of characters making breakfast and listening to music. Both are absolutely wholesome in our eyes.
Wholesome content is something that will make the zine's audience go "awww" or feel really good about life for a while. Really, it's what Good Omens is truly about! People making other people feel like there's good out there in the world.
It's something more than just an everyday painting of the characters but it doesn't have to be a full-blown rom-com with a smooshy ending. We'd like our zine to be light-hearted but still full of meaningful works!
We won't limit this to any genre or any tropes, but we will say that explicit submissions are no longer being accepted in order to make it friendly for all ages. This means no graphic nudity or sex scenes! We understand that some explicit content can be wholesome, but we had multiple reasons to become an SFW zine that can be read here.
What's the theme?
Our theme for this issue is... found family!
We would love to see works that feature your favorite characters finding love and companionship with each other. This could be the Them treating one another as siblings, demons binding together in loyalty, Aziraphale and Crowley making a home for themselves, or all of the anti-apocalypse characters seeing one another after the apocalypse for some good trauma bonding! Almost anything that features characters coming together and forming a strong, familial bond is welcome.
We know that there are many possibilities with this theme, and we're excited to see what contributors can come up with. However, we do want to make clear what will and will not be accepted with this theme before submissions open.

Works featuring OCs (such as children of canon characters, adopted or otherwise)
AUs
Works containing pregnancy
Pets as family!
Not accepted:
NSFW content (please see general submission guidelines for further details) including fetish works (such as pregnancy kinks)
Heavy angst with sad endings (see below)
